Accessible, in-person training and education classes for the natural gas professional – coordinated and delivered by an onsite team of industry educators and facilitators.

Southern Gas Association (SGA) offers quality educational programming for natural gas professionals – and now those LIVE classroom trainings are being presented at a convenient location near you.

Virtual, Instructor-Led Training


Virtual sessions run between 60 minutes to two hours, with planned breaks.

Go ahead and register! We record all classes which will be made available to all attendees for 45 days following the session. Please request the SGA session organizer to send it to you. You will be required to answer some post-session questions to receive your PDH certificate.

For optimal results, each participant needs a computer with a high-speed internet connection and speakers. Ideally, those computers will also have a microphone and webcam.

Attendees will receive 45-day access to a recording of the session, for their personal use.

Yes, within one week of the course, you will receive via email a Professional Development Hours Certificate with credit for the course hours.

On-Demand Training


Each course varies in length; however, you choose to stop or pause the course at any time and resume the course at a different time.

For optimal results, each participant needs a computer with a high-speed internet connection and speakers.

You may browse on-demand courses through SGA’s Product Store or through SGA’s Campus Portal with your membership credentials.

Onsite Training


Onsite training can last anywhere from half-day to multi-day sessions.

Registration is typically capped at 20-25 participants, however, if a training facility has the extra capacity, we will increase that number. You can find this information on the specific event page.

Yes.

For In-House Training, SGA provides teaching materials, name badges, tent cards, instructor(s) and SGA staff onsite during training. Host locations are responsible for training space, tables and chairs, audio/visual equipment (to the extent installed in the training facility space), and food and beverages for attendees.
