Pipeline Integrity Management

The Government of the United States through the Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) of the Pipelines and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has issued a rule that pertains to the requirements for gas pipeline operators to carry out specific activities regarding the management of pipeline integrity.

Several standards organizations have responded to the requirements of these regulations by issuing industry consensus standards on how the various requirements should be implemented.
