Vendor Participation in these Sessions
- All Monday afternoon sessions were open to all conference attendees (gas company and vendors)
- Please click a round table above to see which of these was open to vendors. All round tables were open to gas company attendees.
Why are some round tables only open to gas company attendees?
We are proud of the growth and sustained participation in our round tables. Our Chairmen tell us that the SGA Round Table format provides an open forum for operators to share ideas and lessons learned. They also tell us that the size of their round tables (generally 15-50+ attend each round table) helps facilitate a robust discussion. When those round tables get too large, attendees have difficulty getting the information they came for - the thoughts and ideas of their peers.
For these reasons, some of the round table sessions were open to gas company participants only. Chairmen of each session are sensitive to the desires of our much valued vendor participants, and they will post an "Open to Vendors" sign outside their meeting rooms, when their sessions are open to vendors.
When gas company participants get the information they want, they will continue to attend. When attendance continues to grow as it has the past few years, more customers visit the SGA Exhibit area, and we continue to sell out our Expo. This creates a meaningful and productive meeting for everyone!
Note: the Over-Pressure/Relief Devices Round Table met on Tuesday July 31 only. This was open to AGA/SGA Best Practice/Benchmarking Program participants only. |
