Distribution Operations - Interest Groups
To link operating professionals with their peers for the purpose of exchanging forward thinking ideas and information, the SGA Distribution and Transmission Operating Sections have a number of defined Interest Groups.
Interest Groups Currently Active in the Resource Center (as of December 2006):
What is an Interest Group?
- An Interest Group is a community of gas operating professionals with interest within a specific area.
- Each Interest Group is facilitated by a Steering Committee
- Information relevant to each Interest Group is distributed to the Group by email or posted in the SGA Resource Center.
- Interest Group members are encouraged to interact by submitting topics for discussion, or requesting information from others. Info-Share Surveys; Info-Share Audio Conference and Conference Calls; and Info-Share Web Conferences are tools utilized to facilitate the exchange of information.
- SGA members can be part of as many Interest Groups as they like.
